Just as a slightly more personal story beyond what we have in the the 'about us' blurb, I got on board a few weeks ago when Meleena found my beta reader profile (or read one of my stories, not sure which) on fanfiction.net and contacted me to see if I wanted to help out. She already had the basic idea and a lot of plot points, so I can't tell you how she came up with that, but between the three of us, we started to hash out individual episodes and multi-arc stories. After lots of outlining, witty banter (mostly mine), and actual work (mostly Mels and G), the stories are now almost ready to be let loose on the world!

Actually, it's a bit more than that. I went through this huge frecking list of all writers who beta for either/both NCIS and NCIS: LA. I picked a handful and messaged them to invite them to join us. Only one or two I was actually familiar with, if I'm remembering correctly. Irish Luck and Callen were two that got back to me. I've heard from another since, who will hopefully be joining soon enough. I reached out to a few others from other sources too. But, yeah, that's how some of the recruitment happened. Of course, it's not the only way just what I started with because I knew a project this big and special was going to need a team. And I am so thrilled with the team we have, and am looking forward to expanding our team in the future. On another note, I should be writing...Eh, I think sleep might need to come first. |

ncislaaddict123 I like the idea of being compared to Hetty, in a way, but yeah I never thought of it like that. Cool! I guess I am, minus the whole "orphans with tragic pasts" angle haha.

Yeh you dont have the orphans, but may be you know hetty with some awesone fan fic writers. I really like the idea & thanks for creating this. I am really looking forward to read the fan fic : )
