Changed the promo above to the extended one. Also, did anyone else notice that the vest Gibbs handed her was Kate's? {Spoiler - click to reveal}The one where she dove in front of the bullet to protect Gibbs in "Twilight" It's just like when Ziva joined, with the hat with the bullet hole in it - also Kate's, from when she and Tony were at the shooting range. Interesting, right? Anyhoo, from this promo I am even more excited to meet this character. I miss Kate, I really miss Ziva, but that doesn't change the fact I am looking forward to getting to know Ellie!

I will admit, I liked Ziva and despite popular belief I was sad to see her go, but lets face it Cote had her own life to live and decisions to make.
However I was intrigued when I saw that they were bringing in a new actress to play the part of Ellie Bishop and that she was going to be a series regular. I am looking forward to seeing how she handles being a part of the team, I did like her quirkiness that we have been shown so far.
With the subtle changing of the teams dynamic in the last few episodes and Tony trying to better his own nature, it is going to be interesting how she manages to find herself a niche on the team.
I look forward to seeing what she brings to the new team dynamic.

I just managed to watch it last night... and you know I LOVED Ellie! I like that Tony stayed mature enough and didn't get all "stupid and silly" as he has been portrayed for years. He seems like the big brother to Ellie and I liked that.
I loved how even Tim looked and acted like a seasoned agent compared to her. You could tell Gibbs liked her right away and Abby too!
I think she is going to work!
